What?
This SDK is a package of tools and libraries for realtime display and interaction with large 3D terrains. It can be used in applications that need to display and interact with GIS data, for virtual reality software and computer games. It is optimized for performance and scalability, working on both low and high end PC hardware.
The SDK contains two main items:
- World Maker
Extendable data pipeline tools written in .NET/C#. - Runtime library
Portable runtime library, written in C++, that can be integrated into software to provide real-time display and interaction with terrain data built by World Maker.

How much?
It's free!
Run time binaries and most of the source code (everything that is provided in the SDK above, and that is all that is needed for development on the Win32 platform) is released under the zlib License for commercial or any other use.
Full source code for the multi-platform library core will be available under commercial license, once the SDK 1.0 version is reached.

This library is developed as a hobby project by me, Filip Strugar, with a lot of help from my wife, Sonja Nase Strugar. We live in Nottingham, UK, where I work for the best and nuttiest independent video game development company on the island.
